June update ☀️
Summer is here which means travel and holidays have officially entered the chat! Have you got your summer holiday planned? If yes, we're excited for you! If no, then there's still time!
If you're thinking of ways to be a little more sustainable when you travel, there are an increasing number of sustainable hotels with various initiatives set in place for a greener stay. One hotel chain that prioritises wellness and sustainability is Six Senses, who currently have 27 hotels and resorts. Or if you'd rather go plant-based, the UK's first 100% plant based hotel now exists!

On the topic of travel, have you ever experienced a difference in air quality compared to home? It's not something that comes at the top of our list when picking our holiday destinations. In our latest blog post we look at how air quality changes around the globe, and which countries have the best air quality!

Pet owner? Allergy sufferer? Work from home? Gabriela and her cockapoo Ruby ticked all these boxes but found their Briiv made all the difference! It's worth a watch!
Foreign pollen 🤧
Don't be fooled! For the most part, going to a different country during allergy season can alleviate your symptoms. But sometimes...it can make them worse. This is due to the fact that different countries have their own unique set of plants that release pollen at different times of the year. Factors including humidity, temperature and wind can also play a role. Our advice is to always travel with your own supply of allergy tablets as costs can be a lot higher in other countries 💸.
Balsam bashing 👊

As you may know, Team Briiv has dabbled in planting a few trees here and there. Because it's seasonal work, tree planting can't be done year round. This time of year it's all about the Himalayan Balsam. This invasive species has the tendency to take over, which can be detrimental to native plants. Last week we got stuck in and were given permission to be a little destructive...all for the good of nature of course!
