Briiv Bugs; What's the Plan? 🪲
We’re working hard to tackle the bugs and wanted to provide an update on our progress along with the plan for upcoming fixes. Here’s what’s happening:
In-House Fixes:
-
Fixed:
- App crashing
- Minor processing bugs (delays, glitches)
-
In Progress:
- Schedule hierarchy (ensuring you can take the unit out of the schedule periodically in favour of a manual speed change)
- WiFi pairing connection issues
- Random unit display wake-ups
- Firmware update not pulling through to older units
-
To Do:
- WiFi connection stability
- Temperature measurements in Fahrenheit as well as Celsius
- Sensor readings update
External Fixes:
We’ve hired an external app specialist team to assist us in getting these problems identified and resolved as quickly as possible.
-
In Progress:
- Schedule bugs
- Android app delay issues
Once these bugs have been resolved we can shift our focus to finalise the implementation of the extra features we’re working on, including the 3rd Party API integration and making smart home integration much easier. When it’s time we’ll share a more in depth plan for this here on the community!
If you’ve noticed any issues with your new unit or within the app that’s not mentioned here please let us know and we can add it in to the plan.
Thanks for your support on Briiv 2 Pro!
