Here we are with our monthly update to keep you in the loop with everything Briiv Pro. It's been a busy one here with a lot of parts now on the move, but progress has been good and we're still on schedule for shipping in August.

Fun With Fans 

First off we had all of the fans that live within Briiv Pro arrive and apart from a fright we had where they didn’t initially start-up… they're all looking good and awaiting final assembly.

Glass, Beautiful Glass

The most iconic part of Briiv is the handmade glass that houses the moss and coconut. This has been finished all within tolerance and they're looking amazing! Here it is being checked for size, combined with a coconut filter and boxed up at the glass foundry ready to be sent to us for the final assembly.

All Bunged Up

After playing around with some fragrances for the past 3 months, we noticed that our original diffuser sticks could do with a bit of an upgrade. So, instead of using an off the shelf rubber O ring in the fragrance chamber, we have just designed this nifty looking rubber bung that will work much more consistently with the varying nature of the natural rattan diffuser sticks we are using. 

Just as a recap - This component is designed to act as a seal and keeps the essential oils in the top chamber whilst the rattan slowly absorbs the oil and carries it down inside Briiv Pro in a controlled way. This is where the fan can do it's work and send the pleasant aroma your way.

Packaging Is Underway

This is a minor thing, but we know these small things can cause delays. We have been designing the packaging for Briiv Pro and putting it into production so that when the main parts of Briiv arrive, nothing will stand in our way!

Training The AI Mind

We've been continuing to train Briiv and have been experimenting with hazardous elements that exist within normal household products, like pure toluene and formaldehyde, with the aim that Briiv will be able to identify this generic compound in whatever product it has been put into and then activate.

We are pushing the boundaries of using AI in air purification and are excited to be able to share the progress of this with you as we continue to innovate the sensors ability.

App Progress

The App has been through a round of internal testing and we have found and removed some bugs, but the big jobs with this stage are now complete. Since we are a bit ahead on the schedule for this part, we are planning on doing some additional testing/ improving to some of the existing features that we already had in the app.

Code Continues To Flow

We have continued to refine and build on the existing code for Briiv and this month we now have units communicating with each other in a production ready way, and this is the precursor to the EMC testing that will be carried out next month.

A Design Award

And finally, we won an award! This is the first design award Briiv Pro has been awarded and we're pleased it was given a Gold A-design award. For its innovative design and unique use of blended materials.
