Hi everyone!

It's been a couple of weeks since our Briiv Pro Kickstarter ended and we wanted to give you an update of what you can expect next if you're a part of the campaign. 

Surveys

You can expect to receive your Kickstarter survey by the end of February. This will be sent to the email address used to place your pledge. We'll make a handy step-by-step guide along with a video tutorial to help you through this process. The Kickstarter Surveys are used to confirm pledges, choose extra add-ons you might not have gotten the first time around, and collect your shipping information. 
 

Monthly Updates

We will be posting monthly Kickstarter updates to keep all of our backers in the loop with ongoing production, shipment and other interesting bits. We'll be making sure to respond to all of your comments and questions so feel free to ask away!

PCB's

If you saw the latest Kickstarter update you'll know that we were prototyping the PCBs, which act as the brain of the Briiv. We've had a pre-production run of these made, and upon initial inspection they're looking really good! There are still some more checks to do, but we're feeling really positive so far. 
 

App and Firmware

Now that our electronics engineer is back from his honeymoon (congrats Chris!), we've been able to make some plans for updating the existing firmware and app for Briiv Pro. We've got some external help coming in to aid with the design and function of the app to make things as user-friendly as possible.

We'll also be ensuring they both remain backwards compatible for existing units. It's well known in the design industry that often, product upgrades can eradicate support and use for previous versions. The designed obsolescence only really has one function: to increase sales. This isn't what we're about at Briiv, so ensuring our app remains compatible and existing units can still be used to their fullest is really important to us.
