    Hi Barry,

I've replied directly to your email but I though it'd be helpful to pop the reply here as well, especially if anyone else is having a similar struggle!

If the app isn't loading your WiFi networks, close and re-open the app. On restarting the app you will not need to re-do the previous set-up steps, you can just skip to the WiFi connect page and should be able to see your home network in the list. You can also follow the steps on this page (or watch the video!) to help get you connected.

Hi, I am having a similar issue. The app finds my Briiv, but when it moves to the next screen to find our WiFi network, it hangs with a spinning wheel. I've tried exiting the app and restarting and it keeps doing the same thing. I've also moved the Briiv to be close to the router and it's made no difference.

    Thanks

    Hi Kieran,

Has the above advice given to Barry been useful for you, or are you still having trouble?

Hi - no unfortunately the advice hasn't helped. I've tried exiting the app and restarting as suggested and it keeps doing the same thing. I've also moved the Briiv to be close to the router and it's made no difference.

    Hi Kieran,

Briiv can only be connected to the 2.4Ghz band on Wi-Fi routers or access points (AP). Can you confirm that your network has a 2.4GhZ band?

    Hi Monica Jervis,

I'm sorry to hear you're also having this issue! I have logged it with our engineer, but in the meantime can you confirm that your WiFi network has a 2.4GhZ band, that you're on the Briiv 2.0 app, and that you've tried the above troubleshooting advice?

    Hi

I have an ASUS WiFi 6 router that broadcasts both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, but Briiv is failing to find the WiFi connection.

    Thanks.

I feel like this is quite a common problem that is not being addressed.
I am really tired of waiting for someone to address this issue.
I have followed the instructions provided and nothing.
Can you now treat this as a matter of urgency.

I don't know what 2.4GHz means.  I have run a test using ‘Bandwidth Place’ and I have 30.76 Mbps download speed and 4.86 upload speed and 1 ms Ping.  I have a normal household Wi Fi router from Talk Talk.  The selling outlet didn't say I needed a special bandwidth.  I've only just purchased the Briv and the instructions say I can connect by Wifi.  I don't have this problem with my Smart Pet Feeder App for example.

    Hi Barry Bowen,

We do apologise for the delay. Previous reports of this issue have been resolved with the troubleshooting, but having a few different user reports that the troubleshooting isn't working means our engineer has had to go back in to try and find the fault, and unfortunately this can take time.

If you're still unhappy with your unit and don't want to wait for us to find a resolution send the customer service team a message and they can discuss further options with you.

Monica Jervis and Kieran please can you send an email to our customer service team on ask@briiv.co.uk with your original order confirmations as they'll have some advice for next steps but this will involve personal information? Thanks!

I just want the right solution to this problem, so if it takes a little longer, I will accept that. Appreciated you coming back to me.
