Still having issues?
It looks like we're in the home stretch! Most of the problems or issues that have been reported since Briiv App 2.0 was launched appear to be resolved!
If you're still having issues, we recommend deleting and re-downloading your app, and re-provisioning your unit by pressing 1 for eight seconds and reconnecting your unit to the app. You'll want to ensure your app is up to date.
We've also had some reports of power supply issues. If your unit is regularly switching itself back to level 1, you might want to try moving the Briiv closer to your router, or swapping out the power supply plug and cable.

I was quite excited to hear about the new app here, though a bit sad I didn't get an email or anything :(
Anyway, I've tried connecting the new app to my Briiv, and although it can now find the Briiv reliably, I get stuck on the ‘connect to your wifi network’ step, as the app never finds any wifi networks. I've let it search for several minutes to no avail. I've also tried stopping and reloading the app, but it just makes me go through the same steps again and then gets stuck in the same place.
I did notice the lights on my Briiv behave a bit differently from the video (I get lights going on and off up and down the central four dots, the ‘1’ light itself doesn't blink), but that might be because I have an older model, and I didn't think that should impact the app?
I did manage to connect my Briiv properly to the previous version of the app when I first got it several months ago.
My Wifi runs over a number of wifi powerline nodes, but that's no different from when I coupled the Briiv to v1.0 of the app either.
Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

Can you drop us an email on ask@briiv.co.uk please with a copy of your order confirmation? The older units don't have the capability to connect to the new app as they have a different firmware; this is also why your lights look a little different!
Our customer service team can have a look at what options you have and whether you're covered under warranty once you've emailed.
