App Update - March
Version 2 of our app is up and running and released! We’re working on a remote upgrade for older units so we can get everything up to date for all of those owners.
Our new app has been heavily tested, but as a brand new app there may be some bugs that haven’t been caught yet.
Our electromechanical engineer, Chris, is working hard to get the bugs we’ve identified so far fixed and will roll out an over the air update.
If you’re having any issues please do let us know via email at ask@briiv.co.uk> or right here on the community 😊.
For more in depth information have a read of our blog post> from earlier this month.

Michael, yes! Our engineer has been working hard to fix any current bugs on the new app which he's been making great headway at! We believe the remote firmware update will be ready in the next couple of months, with 2 possible options available 😊.

hey. So just to confirm those of us with older units will be able to access the new app. We will just have to perform a firmware update? Am I correct? If so when can we expect the firmware update and how will we perform the update? Thanks in advance.

Hey Tom,
This is correct! We're still finalising the remote access version, so right now we're offering the option to send your unit back to our warehouse for a manual upgrade. If this is something you'd like to do you can send me an email over on ask@briiv.co.uk>!

3 months later, any news? Can I beta test the remote upgrade?

Hi Michael,
The remote upgrade isn't ready yet (you'd be surprised how long these things take!), but the manual upgrade option is still available if you want to do that.
Thanks!

Actually I wouldn't, having some experience in this area. Which is why the excuses are running thin.
If you've discovered you can't realistically remotely update the units that's fine, but just say so.
What's involved in requesting an updated unit?

Hi Michael,
We just have the one engineer, and he's working on a few different projects at the minute with the remote upgrade being just one of them! The upgrade is coming, but we don't have a firm date on when this will be. I'd like to assure you we aren't making excuses, but we are a very small team!
If you're interested in getting a unit upgrade instead of waiting for the remote upgrade, you can pop us a message over on ask@briiv.co.uk and we can get this sorted for you.
Thanks Michael!
