App Update
Hi All,
We’re just updating to let you know how we’re getting on with the new app! We’re now in the final stages, and a lot of the team are actually testing it themselves to help search for any lingering bugs and provide some feedback. There’s some lagging that needs to be fixed, but generally we’ve found it to be a lot easier, and less buggy, than the previous version 😅.
We’ve identified a number of faults that were popping up due to bugs in the old firmware which have all been resolved in the new version. Now that we’re finalising the work on the new app and firmware, we’re working on an option for a remote upgrade so it’s accessible to everyone, and from there any future upgrades can be performed over WiFi- easy!
We're very confident in the new firmware for a number of reasons, but the primary one is that we actually developed it in house, while the previous version was created with an external developer. Without going into too much detail, we've had a few issues with the original versions of both the app and firmware and were unable to work on a fix ourselves, but also had difficulty with getting a viable fix from the developer we worked with.
Now that we've internalised the process and hired our own software engineer we have much better control over the workings and timelines of the new firmware and app. While I can't 100% guarantee that bugs won't crop up, I can reassure you that we'll be able to get any issues resolved in a much shorter timeframe.
We completely understand that using the Briiv as it currently is might have been disappointing for you, and I hope that with the update we can reassure you of what we're trying to do as a company, and provide you with hassle-free clean air!
We aren’t app developers or software engineers by trade, so this is a huge achievement for us. It’s something we’ve been working on for a long time so to have it so close to being in your hands is really exciting! We really appreciate you sticking with us while we’ve been working through this, and for your patience and support throughout.
If you have any questions pop them down below, and hopefully you’ll have the new app in your hands very soon! 😊

Sounds very promising. Happy to be a beta tester if you decide to offer that.
