The touch controls on Briiv don't behave in the same way as a touch screen you're used to (like a phone screen!). Instead they require pressing in a precise and steady way, and time to process the command. You should avoid tapping the controls in quick succession as this doesn't give the unit enough processing time.

There may be a slight delay between the action (tapping the touch controls) and result (speed change). This isn't unexpected, and isn't indicative of any problems with your Briiv.
When one hour mode is active, the other touch controls become unresponsive. You'll know Briiv is in one hour mode because '1' will be illuminated. To access the touch controls again, take the Briiv out of one hour mode by tapping '1'.
If there's a power supply issue with your Briiv, the front display will flash and you won't be able to interact with the control panel. If this happens, try and use a different power supply, cable, or outlet to determine where the problem is occurring.
