With the recent launch of our new Briiv 2 model we wanted to share the major differences between the old and new unit, as well as the differences between Briiv 2 and Briiv 2 Pro units!
Basic Features
Air Filtration - Briiv filters the air in your space through its triple filter system to capture and remove pollutants.
Manual Control - Briiv can be controlled using the touch control display on the front of the unit.
Four Speed Levels - Each Briiv has speed levels 1-4, as well as a '1 hour mode' which sets Briiv to level 4 for 60 minutes.
CFM - This stands for cubic feet per minute, and shows the volume of air that passes through the Briiv in one minute.
Fragrance Diffuser - A built-in well for fragrance oil and a reed diffuser so your Briiv can not only clean your air, but make is smell good too!
App Features (Optional)
App Connected - Briiv units are able to connect to the Briiv 2.0 app.
Scheduling - The ability to set your Briiv to come on at specific times and speed levels throughout the week.
Filter Health Tracking - Based on speed and time, your app can tell you when to change your filters for optimum cleaning.
Alexa Integration - You can control the unit using your Amazon Alexa.
Control of Other Units - The Briiv can use Zone mode and Canary mode to instruct other units to come on automatically when the air quality worsens.
AI Driven Air Sensor - The Briiv has a built in air quality monitor which detects PM10, PM2.5, VOCs, temperature, and humidity. The monitor uses AI learning so can continually be taught to detect new pollutants!
Intelligent Filter Monitoring - By pairing the filter health tracking and air quality readings, the Briiv can give accurate filter use to ensure you get the most life out of your filters.
Automated Air Filtering- Using Canary Mode, the Briiv can monitor the air and come on when the air quality reaches a pre-determined low.
Filters
Reindeer Moss - Briiv's original filter made of reindeer moss, with a natural arrangement which makes it perfect for capturing and trapping larger household pollutants.
Yorkshire Moss - The Yorkshire moss filter is sphagnum moss, which is denser than the reindeer moss filter. It's also hardier so can be washed between uses to prolong its lifespan.
Activated Carbon - The activated carbon filter takes the existing capture technology within the nano matrix and amplifies it. Activated carbon had a large surface area with a porous structure which means it's excellent at adsorption, making it perfect for removing gaseous chemicals and bad smells from the air.
