Should you use Briiv with open or closed windows?

We generally recommend closing the windows while your Briiv is running, because otherwise the air quality will be constantly changing as new pollutants are introduced from outside. Briiv is pretty powerful, but having an open window is basically like asking it to filter all the air outside!

Briiv doesn't act as a dehumidifier or air conditioner so you may still want to open your windows for air flow and humidity reduction, but we'd recommend doing so when your Briiv is off and you may benefit from letting it run for a while after you close the windows again. 

After Briiv filters the air it will remain clean until you introduce more pollutants, but this can vary depending on what it is you're doing. This means there isn't a set amount of time that your air 'remains clean', as opening windows and doors, cooking, cleaning, or lighting candles can all change your air quality.
